The Flash finally gets a new official release date after not making it’s original slated date of March 23, 2018 nor the others that followed in 2020 and the rumored 2021 release date. It’s now been officially announced by Warner Bros. that the Flash movie starring Ezra Miller, is slated to be released on July 1st, 2022.
It director Andy Muschietti is attached to helm the movie, with Miller returning as Barry Allen after his appearances as the character in Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad and Justice League.
No other casting for the movie have been officially confirmed, such as Kiersey Clemons still be attached as Iris West or Billy Crudup as Henry Allen. There’s also no new updates as to when the film will go into production or exactly where it’ll begin, as all the previously reports have all development into nothing after change of directors. We also have no clue what the movie will be titles, as the Flashpoint plot that was previously teased, has completely fallen apart.
Hopefully in the upcoming months the fans will recieve more casting and production news, along with the official title of the movie, which we can only assume will be The Flash.
