The Truth on the New Batman v Superman Trailer Rumors

We all can agree that we’ve been burned too many times about rumors of the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer being released during insert whatever date / movie and then getting our hearts crushed when it ends up being false.

For example The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Jupiter Ascending and then there was the Super Bowl tv spot, all which turned out as great disappointments as the trailer wasn’t attached to any of those things.

Now here we are with a new rumor that supposedly a teaser clip will be released this Thursday, then the full trailer on Monday in selected theaters.

What’s the origins of this rumor? Well supposedly this rumor has gone around for a few days now, as the Youtube channel Geekphilia made a video on it that was uploaded this past Sunday, we remembered seeing the video and thinking nothing of it, because again getting burned 3 times before kind of does that to a person.

Whoever this source is that informed Geekphilia, has also reached out to other outlets. confirmed they were also contracted on April 3rd by a Booking Manager at a U.S. movie theater stating that the trailer for Batman v Superman will debut in IMAX on April 20th.

On April 3 the Superman Homepage received word from a Bookings Manager at a U.S. movie theater that the trailer for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will debut in IMAX on April 20, and will hit the internet the next day, April 21. I held off posting this here on the website, but did make mention of it during our April 6 edition of “Radio KAL Live!”.

Though the reason we write this article is because Larry Fong who was the cinematographer director of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice tweeted this:

To then retweet these tweets:

In other words, if someone attached to the movie is as much in the dark about the trailer being released as we are, then who and what can we believe?

One thing we can confirm and will most likely write another article on, is that on Tuesday April 21st, Warner Bros. will be attending the Cinema Con, where they will be highlighting their summer and beyond releases, with CEO Kevin Tsujihara hosting the event. It’s possible that’s were the trailer will debut? Speculations.

KEVIN TSUJIHARA, Chairman and CEO, Warner Bros.
DAN FELLMAN, President, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures
VERONIKA KWAN VANDENBERG, President, Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures International
SUE KROLL, President, Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures
GREG SILVERMAN, President, Creative Development and Worldwide Production, Warner Bros. Pictures
TOBY EMMERICH, President & COO, New Line Cinema

With all that said, we’ll believe this when it gets confirmed by Warner Bros. or someone who’s attached to Batman v Superman that can confirm it or when we can see the trailer with our own two eyes, because again we’re still recovering from the previous three times.
