According exclusively to Variety, Vanessa Williams — not to be confused with Ugly Betty star with the same name, has been officially cast as Iris West’s mother and Joe West’s wife on the second season of The Flash.
The character’s description and debut episode isn’t being disclosed, as nothing else regarding Williams appearance has been officially released by The CW or The Flash team.
