According to sources of The Hollywood Reporter, in an article regarding the film The Hateful Eight being shown in theaters in the 70mm format, it speaks of how Warner Bros. is considering the possibility of releasing Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice in 70mm as well.
Sources say Warner Bros. is considering the possibility of having a 70mm release for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which was shot in part in 65mm Imax and opens in March.
The last Warner Bros. film to be released in theaters in 70mm was Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, which they made it a point to promote the theaters that were able to show the film in 70mm, which were mainly IMAX theaters.
