As we previously reported through an article by ComingSoon.net on a release statement by Warner Bros. on what can be expected from DC Entertainment related programming when it comes to consumer products via the Licensing Expo.
The article gave a good insight of what to expect, but with limited details on each product. Now Globe License magazine has officially released an online article, along with a downloadable magazine with complete full details highlighting what Warner Bros. has in store for DC Entertainment.
The one main detail that has stood out the most and has fans excited, is the detail on Wonder Woman’s merchandise:
Another strong merchandising opportunity that potentially could further attract an entirely new audience is Wonder Woman.
“Our comprehensive program will include Wonder Woman in the merchandise lines and in standalone products supporting the film,” says McTier. “We have always had a robust line for Wonder Woman, and her role in this film and future films offers us more opportunities to feature her character and empowering attributes in many creative ways.”
This detail is very exciting due to the lack of female merch that has been released as of lately from live action superhero films, which has made DC Comics fans fearful that the same treatment would be done to Wonder Woman, this in many ways this is a sigh of relief for fans.
