According to Giornale Del Cilento, filming for Wonder Woman will take place from March 20th to April 23rd in the town of Marina di Camerota and on the coast of Palinuro, in the Cilento region of Italy. As we previously reported casting for extras in the region went out in the beginning of this month.

It was also reported that director Patty Jenkins shot scenes in the area back in December. We strongly speculate these locations in Italy will be the landscape for Themyscira.
From Giornale Del Cilento, translation from Italian to English:

No waiting between Marina di Camerota and Palinuro to the start of filming of the Warner Bros Wonder Woman film that will be shot even in Cilento. Last week in Camerota are the auditions for extras are required. Some guys have already been contacted and hired. The film will be released in cinemas around the world in June of 2017. The first scenes were filmed between France and England. Now the production is moved to Marina di Camerota to shoot some scenes of the film between the Mingardo beaches, Capogrosso, cala d’Archon. The scenes will be filmed between March 20 and April 23. Palinuro coast guard ordered the ban to navigate and anchor with whatever units (both pleasure that for professional use); to practice swimming, diving and fishing. The prohibitions (except for the means of the captaincy and production), are provided for a range of three hundred meters.
