Time Magazine has featured Wonder Woman in their latest issue, which debuts a new photo of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, along with new still promotional images from the film.
Within the large article, which goes on to tell why we need a Wonder Woman movie, after 75 years of never having one, it also has an interview with Gadot who plays the title character, where she talks on Wonder Woman’s ambassadorial privileges being withdrawn, due to protest over a “large-breasted white woman of impossible proportions” and “the epitome of a ‘pinup’ girl”, which anyone who’s a fan of the character, knows that to not be true.
“There are so many horrible things that are going on in the world, and this is what you’re protesting, seriously?” Gadot asks “When people argue that Wonder Woman should ‘cover up,’ I don’t quite get it,” she says. “They say, ‘If she’s smart and strong, she can’t also be sexy.’ That’s not fair. Why can’t she be all of the above?”
