According exclusively to Variety, through Twitter themselves, Wonder Woman is the most tweeted movie for this year, they report that Wonder Woman has garnered more than 2.19 million tweets so far this year.
The movie tweets surpassed La La Land and Beauty and the Beast, which came in, in third place, even though it topped the world wide box office with over $1.2 billion. Diana Prince was the top tweeted character name, followed by Batman and Steve Trevor. While names were Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), director Patty Jenkins and Chris Pine (Steve Trevor).
