Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder confirms cameo in an interview with 411Mania, after the unveiling of Bob Kane’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on October 21st, after being asked if he would pop up in the film.
Jeffrey Harris: Last question, do you have a cameo in Batman v. Superman? Will we see you in the movie?
Zack Snyder: You won’t see my face. I pick some things up, but that’s it.
This wouldn’t be the first cameo Snyder would have in one of his DC Comics films, as he also had a cameo in Watchmen for a brief moment.
In the interview Snyder talked on what he wants fans to take away from Batman v Superman when it comes to the DC Extended Universe:
Jeffrey Harris: When people go to see this movie, this will not only be the first live-action version of Batman and Superman together on the big screen, but it will also be the live-action, feature film debut of Wonder Woman. So when people go to see the movie, what do you want them to take away from it?
Zack Snyder: Listen. I want to — we’re working toward Justice League, and I really want to create the — part of the thing I really want to create is the possibility of a world where they could exist together. I think up to this point, it’s been difficult to suggest a world where Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman and others could exist in the same universe. That was one of the things I really wanted to try and get at. Not to mention, the amazing opportunity to bring those characters and have those characters tell an important story, their own story, within the confines of a film.
