Zack Snyder Wants to Give the Why Back to Wonder Woman’s Existence in Pop Culture

Zack Snyder in his interview with USA Today only spoke briefly on Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, by stating she’s a powerful female superhero, which something we haven’t had for a while, he says he wants to give the “why” back to why every child got a Wonder Woman T-shirt because of her existence in pop culture:

“She’s a powerful female superhero, which is a thing we haven’t had for a while,” Snyder says. “She’s a piece of IP that basically exists in pop culture in a way where every kid’s got a Wonder Woman T-shirt and they don’t really know why. I want to give the why back to that.”
