Zoe Kravitz who’s best known for the hit series Big Little Lies on HBO, has been cast to play Catwoman, the anti-heroine and also sometime the love interest of the Dark Knight in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, opposite Robert Pattinson as the title character.
According to Variety, in recent weeks the role came down to Kravitz, Zazie Beetz (Joker), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver) and Oscar winner Alicia Vikander, clearly with Kravitz winng the role, even though it’s said there might have been some scheduling issues with filming for the third installment of Fantastic Beasts.
The Batman has already began its per-production and is set to start production this Fall into early next year in London.
The Batman is slated to be released in theaters on June 25th, 2021.
