It has been announced that the CBS Series The Flash from 1990-1991 has been added to The CW online streaming site CW Seed.
CW Seed will soon be airing Vixen, so this could be a great way to get fans familiar with the site as it’s still relatively new.
The Flash cast includes John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen/The Flash, Amanda Pays as Dr. Tina McGee, Alex Desert as Julio Mendez, Joyce Hyser as Megan Lockhart as well as a slew of guest stars such as Mark Hamill, Tim Thomerson, M. Emmett Walsh, Paula Marshall, Richard Belzer, Dick Miller, David Cassidy (Katie Cassidy, who plays Laurel Lance/The Black Canary on Arrow is his daughter).
The current series pays quite a few tributes to this classic series and has even been teased that maybe revisited, even though it’s not technically in continuity, so if you don’t currently have the DVD set and don’t want to pay for it on Amazon Prime, but are curious, this is a great alternative.
