Ray Fisher who plays Cyborg in the DC Extended Universe, went to social media today to post a picture showcasing a deleted scene from Justice League with the caption: “Life doesn’t always go how we plan it. The only thing we can do is keep reaching for what we believe. #BORGLIFE #LoveRay”.
This is in reference to the fact that many of Victor Stone’s scenes got taken out of the movie. The picture comes from a scene we briefly see in the trailers that never made it into the theatrical or the home video cut of the movie.

Joe Morton, who plays Silas Stone revealed in an interview awhile back that things got changed to help lighten the film up more.
After Zack Snyder left Justice League to take care of his family, Warner Bros. took the opportunity to take away the finale that the film would’ve had in comparison to what we received. Fisher showed his support for Snyder many times as he wore a “I Heart ZC” t-Shirt at conventions.
Fisher’s Cyborg is going to get a solo movie, but the vision Snyder had would’ve focused a bit more on both Cyborg and The Flash with many scenes and character development cut for more one-liners.
For example, one scene in particular had Cyborg hacking into the Mother Boxes and seeing a dystopian future with Superman as leader, referring to the Knightmare scene in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, so in the scene Superman reappears, there’s a reason Cyborg suddenly uncontrollably attacks him.
