Aquaman director James Wan, shared the first on set photo from the film on his Twitter, presenting Amber Heard as Mera, Queen of Atlantis on her first day filming.
We have seen an image of her from Justice League, as well as a quick clip from the trailer, but this is the first on set of Aquaman, which is currently filming.
Aquaman is the only film in the DC Extended Universe since Man of Steel to have almost no negative criticism since it was announced, with James Wan being a fan favorite for many.

Amber Heard also shared a photo of herself in the makeup chair, on the set of the film, reading a Aquaman comic, with the caption “Day 1 of filming…here we go!”
My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
