The director of Aquaman, Jame Wan has confirmed through Twitter that the start of filming for the movie has began, by sharing a photo from the set of the film slate. This confirms the news that we previously reported from Gold Coast Bulletin.
The title on the director’s slate states the film’s production name as Ahab, with Don Burgess being the cameraman. Ahab is the name of the Captain in Moby Dick whose obsession with the infamous white whale that was too great for his own good. Could this be a hint to the story of the film?

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
