According to Variety, before director James Wan goes back to helm the sequel to his successful Aquaman, Wan is set to direct an undisclosed horror project for New Line Cinema.
A source for Variety goes on to say that the plan is for Wan to shoot the secret Horror movie in the Fall in Los Angeles and then go into pre-production on the Aquaman sequel in 2020.
With a release date of set to December 22nd 2022, the movie moving into pre-production sometime in 2020 makes perfect sense, but this news hasn’t officially been confirmed by Warner Bros. or anyone officially attached to the project.
