Ben Affleck Not Leaving the DC Extended Universe

Ben Affleck confirmed at San Diego Comic Con, during the DC Films panel that he is staying with the DC Extended Universe as Batman, despite recent reports that he was leaving. He explained that when they talked with Matt Reeves, Affleck decided to step down because of his respect for the filmmaker.

The Hollywood Reporter were the ones to report that Ben Affleck would be “gracefully” let out of the DC Extended Universe, with many of those who at one point also speculated that it was happening boasting about it. It’s great to see it immediately debunked by the actor himself.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me
