Ben Affleck spoke with Entertainment Weekly for the March 11th issue and one of the questions asked was if Batman would be showing up in Suicide Squad.
Now of course we have seen Ben Affleck on Suicide Squad Toronto set and his Batman appear in the Comic Con trailer, so it’s no surprise that we will, but he actually dances around the question, instead of answering yes or no and gives his thoughts on an early cut he recently got to see of the film.
“I’ve seen Suicide Squad, and I can tell you that movie really works. That movie is really, really cool and fun and awesome.”
Afterward he does finally give his answer:
“You should keep your eyes peeled for sure,”
So there you have it, as if we weren’t already aware, Ben Affleck will be appearing as Batman in two DC Extended Universe films in the same year, a feat no other actor has ever been given the honor to do.
