The official first look trailer for Black Lightning has been released by The CW, in the trailer we we get the standard Greg Berlanti voice over (by China Anne McClain) about how Black Lightning once protected the streets but quit to be a family man and the consequences of that action.
It’s been confirmed that the series will air early 2018 as a mid-season show and it will not be taking place in the same universe as The Flash, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
