Connie Nielsen who plays Hippolyta, Diana’s (Gal Gadot) mother in Patty Jenkins’s Wonder Woman 1984, recently spoke with ABC News and within the interview she was asked on the movie’s theatrical release date being in August, in which Nielsen went on to say that she doesn’t know about the August deadline, but that she hope so.
With the push backs of Matt Reeves’s The Batman and the second installment to David F. Sandberg’s Shazam!, she’s not wrong for questioning if Wonder Woman 1984 will release in theaters like Warner Bros. had slated it to, after it being moved from its June release of this year.
“I don’t know about the August deadline, I sure hope so. The mention of a remedy against this virus will certainly make everything a lot easier. Everyone is waiting to get back to work as well. We’re all waiting to get started on our next projects. Having access to a vaccine or at least a remedy will be a good thing for us all.”
In addition to talking about “Sea Fever,” we also talked Wonder Woman 1984 – and whether or not she thinks it’ll actually hit theaters in August! #WonderWoman #WonderWoman1984 #WW84 @WonderWomanFilm @CNconnienielsen pic.twitter.com/QECRIxoKEI
