As we previously reported, Matt Reeves’s The Batman was pushed back by Warner Bros. from its Summer release date of June 25th, 2021 to now being moved up to Fall with a release date of October 1st, 2021.
When this news broke, The Batman co-writer Mattson Tomlin went on to his official Twitter account to simply tease that October is a better date for the film, as he posted an emoji with heart eyes and simply saying: “October. Suits the mood.” along with a moody gif of Batman from the 90’s animated series.
