Constantine: The Complete Series on Blu-Ray and DVD October 4th, 2016

Constantine: The Complete Series now has an official release date for both Blu-Ray and DVD, which will be on October 4th, exclusively through the WB Shop

Matt Ryan spoke on the release during a press release for the series:

“Actors don’t generally like to revisit their own filmed performances, but I really enjoyed watching the episodes myself because Constantine is such a bold, outright character – both to play and to watch,” says Ryan in a press release. “He’s this brilliant ball of wisecracking, chain-smoking street magic – and it’s so much fun exploring his fascinating, dark world of torment and mystery. I’m happy the fans will now have the opportunity to experience the series on Blu-ray, plus all the bonus features.”

Ryan has become a big reason the character has had a renewed popularity and has returned to the role on Arrow. He’ll also be returning to the role in the Justice League Dark animated adaptation, of the comic book of the same name.

When first teased the chance that the series would finally get a release on home video, they also announced that the music was being changed due to the music rights being too expensive for the original musics.

The announcement also included a list of special features

  • Constantine: Trailer
  • Constantine: On the Set
  • 2014 Comic-Con Panel Q & A with Cast and Creators
  • DC Comics Night at Comic-Con 2014 Presenting Gotham, The Flash, Constantine and Arrow

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me
