Arrow actress Willa Holland, took to her Instagram and posted a very interesting photo of herself in what looks like preparation for a mask and this could clue into her becoming her alter ego Speedy.
In the comics there have been two versions of Speedy, Roy Harper, who is already taking up the mantle of Arsenal/Red Arrow and Mia Dearden, who becomes Speedy shortly after Oliver Queen returns from the dead.
In the series Thea shares many of Mia’s traits, so it’s not hard to believe they would merge her character with Mia’s character.
Mia Dearden has appeared before on Smallville played by Ellse Gatien, as a runaway, turned prostitute that Oliver “saves” by training her.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
