DC Comics Tops Comic Book Sales for a Third Month in a Row


Rebirth continues to dominate for DC Comics, at the top of the comic book sales charts for the third month in a row.

According to the Diamond Comic Distributors sales figures, DC Comics has made 36.53% of the comic book sales, with Marvel coming in at a close second with 31.40%.

As for single issues Batman #6, the epilogue to the “I Am Gotham” story arc by Tom King, sat at number one, with Scott Snyder’s All Star Batman #2 coming in at number two and rounding out the top three is Batman #7 by Tom King and Steve Orlando, which started the first Rebirth Crossover with “Night of the Monster Men “  Five more of the Top Ten were also DC Comics, with only two being non-DC Comics.

DC Comics also did well in the Top 10 Graphic Novel and Trade Paperback list starting at number two with Wonder Woman: The True Amazon by Jill Thompson and six more of the Top 10 being DC Comics related.
