Diane Lane, who plays Martha “Ma” Kent in Man of Steel and the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, recently spoke to USA Today over lunch about her character and how she feels about her incarnation of the role.
“She’s the antithesis of a superhero. She represents mother earth in every way. It’s another era now. Martha got a job. She’s still available as a parent is, forever. I can’t reveal anything about the storyline. The script was redacted,” she says. “I’m so naive. I didn’t know what the word spoiler meant. I thought it was a phenomenon. Why would anyone do that?”

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
