Director Brad Peyton and Actress Carla Gugino Want In On the DC Cinematic Universe

Brad Peyton who has been making his rounds promoting San Andreas spoke with Digital Spy about his interest in directing a Superman film, he also discusses his inspiration from Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan’s take on Batman, what he’d love to bring to the character.

It’s not known yet if Zack Snyder will continue to direct the next Man of Steel solo film, so maybe Warner Bros. can get on top securing his skill. Brad Peyton had also been scheduled to direct Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the Lobo film, which he recently said could still happen.

Carla Gugino who played the voice of Kelor in Man of Steel, Sally Jupiter/Silk Spectar in Watchmen, she was Lucille in Sin City and has a great working relationship with director Zack Snyder, also revealed she was interested in joining the DC Cinematic Universe.
