Dwayne Johnson who will play Black Adam in the DC Extended Universe, and is also starring with Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in Baywatch, has gone to Twitter to welcome Abdul-Mateen to the “Club” that is the DC Extended Universe.
Abdul-Mateen has been reported to be in talks to play the role of Black Manta in James Wan’s Aquaman. No official word by Warner Bros. on the casting has been announced, but with Johnson’s welcoming Tweet, we can only speculate that Abdul-Mateen has signed on for the role.
Congrats brotha. Couldn’t happen to a better dude. Welcome to the club. @yahya https://t.co/8EpkPmx001
