Emma Caulfield Cast as Cameron Chase on Supergirl

According to the Mary Sue, Emma Caulfield (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has been cast as Cameron Chase on the CBS hit television series Supergirl.

Many will remember Caulfield as Anya on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, a Vengeance Demon who was turned back into a human and often seen as the new Cordelia of the series.

Caulfield’s character of Cameron Chase on Supergirl though is described as followed:

After her father’s violent murder, Cameron Chase decided to dedicate her life to law enforcement. Now a stern, no holds barred FBI agent, Chase’s weapons of choice are manipulation and manpower. With little sympathy, and plenty of suspicions, she pursues her targets with ruthless determination.

Cameron Chase will be the first character originally created in the Batman comics to appear on Supergirl as she has had run ins with Batwoman leaving me to believe this can be a hint that Batwoman could make an appearance? Although, she has also been a member of the Suicide Squad and Department of Extranormal Operations, where Alex Danvers is working, so that is probably wishful thinking.

Her ability in the comics is to be able to negate and neutralize Meta-Humans.
