Director Guy Ritchie during a recent interview with Variety, while promoting his latest film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, confirmed that he would fancy directing Suicide Squad 2, as he believes he’ll do a good job with it, but goes on to say he won’t be able to work on the film, as he has another project in the works.
“I quite fancy doing Suicide Squad 2, because I thought I could do a good job with it. I can’t do it because I’m doing something else, but I’ve felt I could really do something with that.”
The most recent director to be attached to the sequel is Mel Gibson, who was in talks, but still no official announcement has been made by Warner Bros, as to who’ll be directing the follow-up to the hit film by director David Ayer.
