The Wonder Woman premiere is scheduled for March 25th and director Patty Jenkins wanted to make sure it was a very special occasion and invited Lynda Carter and her family to join her and star Gal Gadot as the world gets to finally see Wonder Woman in her first solo film on the silver screen.
Having Lynda Carter is a huge celebration of the legacy of Wonder Woman as she is most famous for having played her in the live action television series Wonder Woman/The New Adventures of Wonder Woman after Cathy Lee Crosby played the role in a television movie.
Warner Bros. and DC Comics has a tradition of including those who were in previous incarnations to join in on the current incarnations and Lynda Carter has been no different, having appeared in both Smallville and now Supergirl.

Our greatest honor. You're the reason I fell in love with Wonder Woman. And couldn't and wouldn't have done it without your support. xoxo https://t.co/Rnh1jppEAS
