Gotham City Sirens, which is a spin-off of Suicide Squad starring Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) and to also be directed by David Ayer, is currently in casting phase of the film’s pre-production. Since the annoucement of the film going forward, no other casting outside of Robbie’s, have been officially announced by Warner Bros.
Gotham City Sirens is a comic book series that featured the most popular female characters from Gotham City, mainly that of Harley Quinn, Catwoman and Poison Ivy.
Robbie is clearly reprising her role of Harley Quinn, while the characters of Catwoman and Poison Ivy, have yet to be officially casted. Though now actresses have been teasing possible casting or interest in the film, such as actress Aurora Perrineau who teased possible casting or interest in the role of Catwoman in the film on Twitter.
Now actress Haley Bennett, who’s best known for her role film such as The Magnificent Seven and The Girl on the Train, went on to instagram to also tease possible casting or interest in the role of Catwoman.
