Matt Reeves Has Started Following Geoff Johns on Twitter

When Variety broke the news that Ben Affleck would be collaborating with another director on The Batman, the name they mentioned as being on the shortlist was director Matt Reeves, who directed the last two Planet of the Apes films.

Now it looks like Reeves may have been hired or at least has an interest in taking on the role of directing for The Batman, as he has started following Geoff Johns, the co-writer of The Batman and co-head of DC Films.

After doing some more digging neither Ben Affleck nor Geoff Johns are following him back, so it could be possible they met and he decided to follow Johns. Though could also mean that he might be up for directing another film in the DC Extended Universe.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten. I only started reading comics about 10 years ago but am connected more to DC over Marvel or any other major company. If you wanna chat feel free to contact me
