Hans Zimmer has officially signed on to score Patty Jenkins’s Wonder Woman 1984, which is the second installment to her hit first installment Wonder Woman, which released last year.
According Hans-Zimmer.com, Zimmer will be returning to score the music for the Amazon princess, as he scored the music for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which gave us the ironic theme song for Wonder Woman titled “Is she with you?”.
This news comes as a surprise, as after the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Zimmer went on to say he wasn’t interested in scoring anymore superhero movies. Many speculated that it had to do with Zimmer being turned off from the backlash of the movie as his reasoning to step away from wanting to score another superhero movie, but with the success of Wonder Woman, we can see why he’ll be willing to return for Wonder Woman 1984.
Wonder Woman 1984 is set to release November 1, 2019.
