As reported earlier Dean Cain and Helen Slater, two former DC veteran actors have been cast on CBS’ Supergirl in unknown roles continuing the tradition that start with Batman: The Animated Series (with Adam West guest starring) and continued through, the DCAU, Smallville and The Flash, and now Supergirl with bringing back actors who have given us hours of entertainment in the past and introducing a new generation to their faces.
Well Helen Slater has wasted no time in showing her gratitude with returning to the DC Universe with a new tweet. Helen Slater first starred in Warner Bro’s Supergirl, which was the first spin-off film and female led Superhero film ever made and while it flopped at the boxoffice many still noted her performance as being a highlight and years later was rewarded (as well as rewarding the fans) with playing Lara-El, Kal-El’s biological mother on Smallville (alongside Laura Vandervoort who was playing Kara/Supergirl).
Thank you CBS, Warner Brothers, Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler and David Rappaport. pic.twitter.com/CiCb2nLOsS

I made a tweet to her with the suggestion that Laura Vandervoort should also returned and was happy to see Laura herself favorited it, at least she knows its out there!
@RealDeanCain hope you play Jor-El or Zor-El, now we just need Teri Hatcher, John Shea, @Vandiekins22 and Tom Welling to come in
