According to HN Entertainment, director James Gunn will be reuniting with Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 costume designer Judianna Makovsky for The Suicide Squad.
Judianna’s is also credited for designing the costumes for such popular comic book movies for Marvel Studios such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.
If true Gunn will be moving on from David Ayer’s Suicide Squad costume designer Kate Hawley, who’s best known for her work on Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit.
This news has yet to be officially confirmed by Warner Bros. or anyone directly attached to the movie, but normally these type of reports end up being more so true than false, as we often see with the casting of actors.
The Suicide Squad is set to release in theaters on August 6th, 2021
