Aquaman director James Wan, went on twitter that the reason there’s no trailer or images from the film isn’t because he’s trying to hide anything but because the Visual FX aren’t ready, not even in the standards of a teaser trailer.
Wan goes on to comment on the rumor that an Aquaman trailer was ready for this weekend’s WonderCon, saying it’s “Not in the cards” and assure fans he’s hard at work in post-production.

I know it seems like nothing much is brewing above the surface, but I can assure you, we’re working nonstop under the waves 🌊 😉 (3/3)

Due to all the recent marketing for David F. Sandberg’s Shazam, such as the Q&A that took place with Asher Angel (Billy Batson) and Zachary Levi (Shazam), it prompted fans to question the lack of marketing for Aquaman.
The Aquaman first trailer is likely going to debut at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, during the Warner Bros. panel in Hall H.
