Jared Leto’s Rat Ends Up With Guillermo Del Toro

We reported before that Jared Leto had sent some interesting gifts to his Suicide Squad co-stars, one of those gifts was a pet rat they named Splinter, an obvious reference to the character in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, that was given to Margot Robbie, who is playing his “love” interest Harley Quinn, as a love gift.

Well apparently Jai Courtney, who is playing Captain Boomerang had adopted Splinter for a week before handing it to famous director Guillermo Del Toro, who’s the writer of Justice League Dark.

Here is his interview with Collider he gave while promoting Terminator: Genesys.

Following this reveal Collider got in touch with Guillermo Del Toro and he gave an update of his own about Splinter, now named Venustiano:

The rat is living with us in Toronto and he, and his massive ballsack, provide the house with great cheer and joy! We have re-named him Venustiano.

If you want to read more about how Venustiano and the name behind that please visit Collider.
