An image on Reddit has surfaced which suggest that a new Justice League animated series maybe in development under the title JLA. As you’ll see in the image below the reason behind the thought that it is Cartoon Network is the line up next to it is a group of shows that air on Cartoon Network, including Teen Titans Go.
The last Justice League show was in 2006 with the DCAU Series finale of Justice League: Unlimited aired on Cartoon Network, Legion of the Super-Heroes, which is a future Justice League type team also aired soon after from 2006-2008, so Cartoon Network certainly makes sense to be a home for any future DC Animated Show.
Personally I hope this is not true, Cartoon Network has really shown they don’t care about great storytelling but just selling toys, Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series were both canceled in favor of Teen Titans GO!, where they spend the whole episode talking about whether they are serious enough instead of actually being crime fighters and giving us an actual story.
Of course kids deserve to have fun with these characters too, but Batman: The Animated Series and Batman: The Brave and the Bold (which also aired on Cartoon Network) both had adult stories while still doing a good job at appealing to kids.
