Joe Manganiello has spoke with Entertainment Tonight after he had a health scare and revealed that he will start filming the Batman film as Deathstroke in the Spring.
Could this mean that he just inadvertently announced that the Ben Affleck solo Batman film will be gearing up to start production in the Spring of 2017? There is an untitled DC film set for 2018, with many expecting that to be the Batman solo film.
Suicide Squad 2 is also rumored to be filming sometime in 2017 and it was also rumored that Deathstroke would be in that film as well, so it’s possible he was talking about that as well.
He could also be referring to pre-production work, such as training, costume and clothing fittings.
My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
