Recently Jeff Sneider of The Wrap and Meet the Movie Press made an announcement that according to some film agencies a casting call is going out for John Stewart for the Green Lantern film.
Keep in mind this has not been confirmed but would make some sense as it is expected we will see Hal Jordan in the Justice League film and possibly get a quick retelling of his story like they did in Justice League: The New Frontier, which worked out well.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
