John Wesley Shipp, who currently plays Henry Allen on The Flash spoke exclusively with DCComicsNews.com about what went on in the process of getting him on the series (which began on February of 2014) as well as his working relationship with Grant Gustin and how it translates to screen.
The interview was done before the Season 1 Finale, but John Wesley Shipp does confirm he is returning for Season 2, but gives no specifics concerning whether he’ll still be in jail or not. He also mentions that the Finale is different from what the showrunners had planned, which makes me curious on what changed, its pretty evident that while most shows stretch out an arc over a series of seasons (which can be a mistake if the series is canceled) Andrew Kreisberg, Greg Berlanti and Geoff Johns didn’t want that (I have a lot of respect for them for that).
