Joss Whedon is now working on reshoots and post production work for Zack Snyder’s Justice League film and it’s not known how far into Batgirl he’s begun working on.
Geoff Johns spoke with IGN about Batman’s world and how Batgirl fits into expanding his world.
“But for Batman what I will say is that Batman is more than just Batman and, you know, it’s been way too long since we’ve seen, you know, an expansion of that universe, and Batgirl – we are doing Batgirl with Joss Whedon, it’s going to be super exciting. He’s going to start that next year, and that’s just the start.”

Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
