The success of Batman: The Killing Joke has opened up a new direction for the DC Animated Original Movies with Justice League Dark now officially being Rated R. Along with the annoucement of its rating, the film also received a new trailer.
From the trailer we can see that members of the Justice League will be teaming up with the Justice League Dark. This trailer reveals John Stewart as the Green Lantern in the film, as well as Hawkman and Martian Manhunter making their first appearance in this connected animated universe.
Could this also get a theatrical release? Maybe this is a sign that the Doug Liman’s live action Justice League Dark film Dark Universe will also be Rated R.
My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
