Longtime Batman fan Kevin Smith spoke with Variety at Sundance, on his film Yoga Hosers and during the conversation he talked a bit about Ben Affleck and how he feels Affleck will do as Bruce Wayne and Batman.
Kevin Smith had revealed in one of his “An Evening With Kevin Smith” DVD’s that Ben Affleck had wanted to play Batman for years and had only done Daredevil because he felt that was the closest he’d ever get to the role. Which Kevin Smith recalls again here.
Kevin Smith even had the term Batmobile said by Ben Affleck in the film Jersey Girl, which basically shows that he, for a long time has been very supportive in his old friend becoming The Dark Knight.
