Kevin Smith’s Supergirl Episode Begins Production

Kevin Smith who has directed episodes of The Flash, is now beginning work on his first Supergirl episode titled “Supergirl Lives” which is an homage to his Nicholas Cage/Tim Burton script he wrote for Superman Lives in the 1990’s.

Kevin Smith announced the start on both Twitter and Facebook, getting the fans pumped for what is sure to be a great episode.

In the Facebook video Kevin Smith put out he gives fans a tour around the new DEO set as well as the Fortress of Solitude. He also introduces us to one of the writers of the episode Eric Carrasco, who talks about how he got the job in the first place, encouraging any fans that knowing all these comic book facts can pay off in the end.
