Lucifer Officially Ordered to Series

Variety is reporting that FOX has officially ordered Lucifer to series, making it the 2nd DC property that will air on FOX this upcoming Fall, below is the synopsis:

“Lucifer” from Warner Bros. TV, DC Comics and Jerry Bruckheimer Television, stars Tom Ellis as the title character, described as being bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, a.k.a. Lucifer, causing him to leave his throne and abandon his kingdom for Los Angeles, where he helps the LAPD punish criminals. Based on DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint, Tom Kapinos (writer) exec produces with Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Ildy Modrovich and Len Wiseman who will serve as director. The cast is rounded out by Lauren German, Rachel Harris, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Nicholas Gonzalez and Scarlett Estevez.
