Marc McClure, who is known for playing Jimmy Olsen in the Christopher Reeve’s starring Superman films, as well as the spin-off film Supergirl, has announced he will be appearing in a recurring role on the NBC series Powerless.
This news was announced at a Q&A Panel after a screening for Superman 2: The Richard Donner Cut in Sydney, Australia, when Superman Homepage writer Steve Younis asked him if he would be returning to the DC Universe as he did with Smallville as Dax-Ur. Though McClure did not disclose what role he’ll be playing, just that it will be recurring.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
