Variety announced today that Nicole Kassell will direct the pilot episode for Damon Lindelof’s HBO adaptation of Watchmen, she also serves an Executive Producer of the series.
Kassell is known for directing various movie styled television shows such as The Americans and Better Call Saul and directing the 2004 film The Woodsman with Kevin Bacon.
Damon Lindelof wrote the pilot and serves as creator and Executive Producer, no release dates been announced for the series, as the series still needs to be green-lit into a full series.

My name is Eric and I am loving this current comic book boom, I was around for the first one with Superman: The Movie, Supergirl(being the first female and crossover film) and Batman and have been enjoying the resurgence since Blade. Can't express how much I cannot wait for WB & DC to take back the film universe but until than I love the TV shows we have gotten.
