The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively reported that Nicole Kidman who formerly starred in the DC Comics movie Batman Forever and was also close to signing on to playing Queen Hippolyta in Wonder Woman, is in early talks to play Aquaman / Author Curry’s mother, the Queen Atlanna.
The report states the role was officially offered on Monday, like that of Yahya Abdul-Mateenso’s for Black Manta. The deal going through is said to be looking optimistic, as Kidman has been Wan’s top choice for weeks.
Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as the titled character and is set to hit theaters on October 5th, 2018.
