According to Deadline, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League screenplay writer Chris Terrio, who also wrote the script for the film Argo, that won Ben Affleck an Oscar, has rewritten the script for The Batman, in which Affleck and DC Films co-head Geoff Johns wrote together. The article states that Terrio recently turned in the rewritten script. This news comes after Affleck has stepped down as the director for the film, after spending months being pressured by the media with question on his involvement with the film as a director.
Since the news broke, many sites are reporting that Warner Bros. is looking at director Matt Reeves Planet of the Apes, as the director to step in to helm The Batman.
